About UsHelping Members Enhance Their Skills and Expand Their Network Since 1953 |
The San Francisco Estate Planning Council (SFEPC) is a highly recognized, interdisciplinary 501(c)(6) membership organization. Established in 1953 for San Francisco professionals involved in estate planning, we provide members with opportunities to enhance their skills and expand their network through programs and interaction. The National Association for Estate Planners & Councils (NAEPC) was established in 1963, and we are now one of 260+ local estate planning councils affiliated with the NAEPC. |
![]() | What We DoFor members, the Council hosts educational events, an annual summer symposium, and social events throughout the year. Each event brings relevant and engaging content to members together with focused networking opportunities. In addition, members have the option to contribute content and thought leadership at our meetings, providing more exposure and furthering connections. For the next generation of estate planners, we can be a source of inspiration, knowledge, and potential mentorship. While professionals who have less than five years of experience are not eligible to join us at this time, many established practitioners in our community have an interest in forming casual mentoring relationships with those interested in joining our ranks. NOTE: Unfortunately, for the general public we are not able to provide referrals from our membership directory. |
